Regen Sdn. Bhd. and PT. Oligo Jasa Karya officially entered into a Cooperation Agreement on 17 October 2025, marking a strategic partnership to pioneer advanced biotechnology-driven waste management solutions in Indonesia.
The collaboration focuses on the Rawa Kucing Landfill Project in Tangerang, Indonesia, where both parties will combine their expertise to develop, construct, and operate a state-of-the-art biotechnology-based waste management system.
Under the agreement:
- Regen will provide funding, nano-technology expertise, and operational leadership for the project’s development and implementation.
- Oligo will oversee the acquisition of long-term waste supply concessions, permits, and local land arrangements in collaboration with the Indonesian government.

This partnership reflects Regen’s commitment to sustainable development through biotechnology innovation and cross-border cooperation — transforming environmental challenges into scalable solutions for a cleaner, greener future.
“This collaboration represents a key step toward creating eco-driven waste management systems that not only reduce landfill dependency but also recover valuable resources,” said Regen Group Executive Director, Dave Hoong.
The agreement signifies Regen’s expanding presence in Southeast Asia and its mission to drive circular economy innovation through technology, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
